Pollution

Hi Everyone I am Sweta Pausker from F.Y.B.Com 'A' class studying in G.V.M G.G.P.R C.C.E Ponda-Goa. I would like to share my views on water pollution. Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies. This form of environmental degradation occurs when pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into water bodies without adequate treatment to remove harmful compounds. Water pollution affects the entire biosphere of plants and organisms living in this water bodies,as well as organisms and plants that might be to the water. Decisions on the type and degree of treatment and control of wastes,and the disposal and use of adequately treated waste water,must be based on a consideration all the technical factors of each drainage basin,in order to prevent any further contamination or harm to the environment.
